William Joseph “Billy” Lauer
September 20, 1962 – May 14, 2022
William Joseph “Billy” Lauer, 59, of Friendship passed away May 14, 2022. He was born September 20, 1962 to William Jr. and Jacqueline Helen (Goode) Lauer. Billy grew up in Maryland City and graduated from Meade High School. He was a member of the Local Printing Union 72 and worked as a union printer for Editors/Kelly Printing for 21 years before going to work with CP Direct in 2015. In his spare time, Billy enjoyed woodworking, decorating for Christmas, spending time with his friends and his cat Hunter.
Billy is survived by his daughter Shannon Lauer Stratton and her husband Gary of Millersville, parents William and Jacqueline Lauer of Friendship, sisters Betsy Mantua of Union Bridge, MD and Nancy Harrison of Friendship, nieces Kacey Lauer and Rachael Foss and nephews Joey Harrison and Ryan and Kyle Mantua.
