Veronica Sue Lusby

December 14, 1956 – April 2, 2012

Veronica Sue Lusby, 55, of Chesapeake Beach, Md. passed away at home on April 2, 2012. She was born in Calvert County, MD on December 14, 1956 to the late Oscar “Billy” Lusby and Lowena Buffer Lusby. Sue loved to watch soap operas and spend time with her children and grandchildren. She would do anything for anyone.
Sue is survived by her daughters, Nichole Lynn Matteson (Walter Hand) of Prince Frederick, MD and Amy Lynn Ballentine (Shawn Boarman) of Chesapeake Beach, MD. Grandmother of Tristan Matteson, Taylor Lee, Stacy Ballentine and Jarred Ballentine, daughter of Lowena Lusby of Huntingtown, MD., sister of Sharon Adams (Samual) of Lusby, MD, June Gibson (Thomas) of Huntingtown, MD, Chris Lusby(Cheryl) of Lusby, and James Lusby (Raylene Heddleston) of Lusby.She is also survived by her lifelong partner Robert Carl Stone of Glen Burnie, MD.
The family will receive friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes Island Road Port Republic, MD on Thursday April 5, 2012 from 10-11:30AM where services will be held at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow in St. Paul United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lusby, MD.
