I hope the family is doing alright. I’m sorry for the loss and grief the family is dealing with.
I’ll miss our chats Nick. I’m glad to have met you last summer. I’m sorry I didn’t make more of an effort to see you even though we live fairly close to each other and could have, but I’m glad we still spoke on the phone and online. I wish I knew more. I wish I did more. I’m sorry if I let you down by not being there enough. I’ll miss you and our talks about everything from meeting up to traveling. You helped make that time last summer a lot more bearable and I am glad to know your story. I hope you can rest easy now and don’t have to worry about the stuff that brought you grief anymore. I’ll miss you.
Nick stood up for me when I was in danger. He was always respectful, kind, caring, thoughtful, and gentle. I think about him often, and upon learning this morning that he passed, I find myself now regretting that I did not contact him when the idea struck me. He is hopefully at peace. He, more than anyone, deserves that at the very least.
Megan Please know my heart is with you and your family. Jake and I are praying for Nick, your family and we are certain he is at peace now where he will look over his family with love. If you need anything please don’t hesitate to call or come by. We love you and you are in our prayers. Cheryl & Jake

Our nephew Nick, a toast to a naturally talented artist. Full of expression and creativity, extreme and to the fullest! The bravest, and most honorable person in our ordinary lives. You will always shine brightly in our hearts!
