Nancy Lee Holland

September 3, 1942- April 25, 2020

Nancy Lee Holland (Eccles) 77, passed away in Prince Frederick, Maryland on April 25, 2020 with family at her side. She was born in Meadville, PA. She is the daughter of the late Betty Coe Morgan and Charles J. Eccles. In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her brother Charles (Bud) Eccles and her Sister Kathy Shelatz.
She is survived by her children: Cindy Alleva (Butch), Bryan Holland (Cynthia), Dana Holland (Jimmy) and Samantha Holland. Grandchildren Lindsay Morris (Kyle), Kristy Alleva, Kelsey Holland and Bryan Holland, Jr. of Port Republic, Md. Granddaughters Danielle Holland, Tiana and Cheyenne Snyder of St. Leonard, Md. She also has 2 Great Grandchildren Kate and Max Morris.
At age 18, Nancy bravely left her home in Pennsylvania and began working as a secretary in Washington D.C.. In the 1970s, she moved with her family to Calvert County and worked for the County Government for 25 years at the Detention Center as an Office Manager. She retired in 2006.
Nancy loved her home in St. Leonard where she enjoyed gardening and watching her birds. She always enjoyed spending time with her family. Nancy loved her animals “Momma Kitty”, Kalie and Koda James.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
