We were shocked to hear of Maryann’s passing. Maryann will be greatly missed by her Southern MD Book Club. She could be counted on to do in depth research on books, authors and topics and we always learned so much from her. She spoke lovingly of her children and grandchildren and our sincere sympathy goes out to them. Please let us know when the celebration of life is scheduled.

At the senior center, there was an outpouring of emotion, when the obituary in the County Times let us know of Maryann’s passing. She enriched our weekly exercise class with her dry sense of humor, comedic timing and relaxed demeanor. During the reign of the Covid pandemic, we were deprived of her presence, however, phone calls and emails continued to be outlets for venting about the news, having lengthy conversations and enjoying a chuckle. Maryann will be certainly be missed is many ways, but most especially for her laughter. Our sincere sympathy to her cherished family members.
