MARVIN H FOWBLE, JR

February 6, 1941 – October 16, 2022

Marvin H Fowble Jr of Port Republic, MD., passed away at the age of 81.  Son of Marvin H Sr and Mae Fowble.  Preceeded in death by his parents, his sister Carol Butts, brother William Fowble and son Dennis Fowble.  He is survived by his daughters Marlene (Julie) Slappy Fowble, Sandra (Ricky) Dowell and Jennifer (Sean) Mutchler and brother Wayne Fowble.  Grandfather of 9 and Great Grandfather of 8.

Marvin spent time in the U.S. Navy aboard the Ticonderoga CVA-14.

An internment will be held on Saturday July 1, 2023 at 11:00am at Chesapeake Highlands Memorial Gardens 3270 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD 20676.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marvin’s name to The Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600 Doylestown, PA 18901 or online www.DementiaSociety.org/donate.
