Margaret Elizabeth Faulconer, 99, of Annapolis passed away June 11, 2022. She was born March 26, 1923, in Washington, DC to Stockton and Carrie (Settle) Butler. Margaret married Walter Pit Faulconer on October 16, 1943, and they lived in DC and Silver Spring. After Pit’s passing in 1958, Margaret moved to Bethesda and later Annapolis in 1988. She worked as an executive assistant for IBM for many years, retiring in 1987. Margaret was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and in her spare time she enjoyed traveling with friends, playing Bridge, BINGO, and art and crafts.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Walter Faulconer, brother Stockton Butler and sister Mildred Jeffers. She is survived by her daughters Nancy Miller of Chesapeake Beach and Susan Wehner of Myrtle Beach, SC, grandchildren Eric Miller, Kristin Bunnell, Diane Wehner, and Karyn Sarvis, great-grandchildren Hannah and Tyler Miller and Brooke and Brandt Bunnell, brother Burgess Mills, nieces Linda Sherwood and Patricia Beach, nephew Tom Jeffers, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
