Judeiann Dudman of Port Republic peacefully passed away October 7th, 2021, with her family by her side. Judei was born in Chicago, IL to Marion and Josephine Stoj. She was lovingly known as Busia (Polish for Grandma) to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many friends. In her younger years, Judei worked as a finance officer then opened her own store, “Mom & Me”, selling perfumes and beauty products. After her husband Bill passed, she moved to Port Republic and became involved as a volunteer with St. John Vianney, The Office on Aging, and Calvert Middle School. Judei loved meeting The Rosary Beads Ladies weekly at Bob Evans for a fun lady’s lunch. Her most entertaining hobby was watching wrestling, which she started with her father as a young girl. When the wrestlers didn’t get it right, she had no problem telling them how to win. Judei and Bill were blessed with 5 children: Julei Darrach (Steve), Will Dudman (Lori), Audrey Beeson (Ernie), Shannan Robert (Lionel), and Amanda Mejia (Olvin), 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. If you remember anything about Judei, remember what her father taught her which she lived by: “Go out every day and make one person smile.” Rest in Peace Mom, Busia. We love you.

The first time I met you will forever be in my heart, you and your family welcomed my little family into yours. You are one in a zillion and will always be remembered. You are a beautiful person in and out and I see where your family gets it from. We’re jealous that God has you, but happy that he’s easing your pain. 🥂 to you Judie my family and I will miss and love you forever! ❤
I have such wonderful memories of this wonderful lady. Never shy about telling you the truth, truth that you sometimes needed to hear. She was generous with the material blessing God had given her, but she was even more generous with her love. She will be missed by those she has left behind. My heart is heavy.
It is with a very heavy heart that I send out my deepest condolences for the loss of Judeiann Dudman (but I always knew her as Busia). Busia welcomed me with love and open arms the first time we met and I will always remember her warm and caring personality. It was truly a pleasure getting to know and spend time with this genuine and loving woman. I will cherish those moments spent with her always. Sending out my love, thoughts, and prayers to her family and friends.
You are a very tight knit family. There is so much love between all of you. Your mother was the most wonderful person I had ever met. She did so much good in every community that her hands touched. She had a heart of gold and made you feel like family. I know you all will miss her, but she is with the good lord now and he will take care of her. She will always be looking down on all of you. You will miss her but she will be in all of your hearts forever.
From the Flett family to yours, please accept our deepest sympathies in the passing of your mother. Your family has touched our family for many years all through a sweet connection between our mothers. We are grateful for having your mother and you in our lives and I pray that God holds you all tightly through this loss as only He can. Rest In Peace Judei…His good and faithful servant.
My cousin shared the following many years ago when her mother passed and I want share it with you…
Your Mother Is Always With You!
She’s the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street.
She’s the smell of certain foods you remember, flowers you pick, the fragrance of life itself.
She’s the cool hand on your brow when you’re not feeling well.
She’s your breath in the air on a cold winter’s day.
She is the sound of the rain that lulls you to sleep, the colors of a rainbow.
She is Christmas morning.
Your mother lives inside your laughter.
She’s the place you come from, your first home.
She’s the map you follow with every step you take.
She’s your first love, your first friend, even your first enemy.
But nothing on Earth can separate you.
Not time.
Not space.
Not even death.
I worked with Judei at the Office on Aging and enjoyed getting to know her. She was a sweet, caring lady and I know she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Deepest sympathy to her family and I know you will have wonderful memories to keep her forever in your hearts. RIP my friend.
Judei…better known as Mom. Thank you for opening up your home to me during our school year years and loving me as if I was your own. I think I practically lived at your home and loved every bit of it… my favorite was making tunafish sandwiches for everyone… I’m glad we didn’t eat much as kids, 5 kids plus me was a lot. Julei and I loved moving furniture around, you just never knew what you would come home to. Thank you, you are definitely an angel, and I’m sure you will be sending everyone reminders that you are watching over them all. Lots of love xoxo until we meet again. ❤ Love, Nancy Wright Sickmiller
Our sympathies go out to all the Dudman family. We enjoyed living by you and your beautiful family in Hollywood for many years. Judei and Bill and the children were exceptional people. Judei was full of spirit, smiles and is surely going to be missed by all.
Judei was a dear friend of mine and neighbor in Clarendon Hills, IL in the 70’s. My daughter Terri, husband and I went to Hollywood for daughter’s wedding. Terri was in the wedding party. After that, we lost touch as both of our families were moving again. I have thought of Judei often and wish I had tried harder, sooner, to try and reach her. I did try several times with no luck and since I am on face book now, decided to try that. I am so very saddened to hear of her passing. We were very close friends and I adored her. My condolences to her family, I do remember you.

Judei was beautiful (inside and out), loving, caring, kind, and joyful in her love for the Lord. She left a wonderful legacy in her family here. May God give comfort to her family.
