Pat my deepest condolences to you. I currently have some physical restrictions and can’t travel. Know in your heart I have you in my thoughts and prayers. Also know thinking about Wiz, many smiles have and will have in the future thinking of him.
Pat, Mike and Kevin, I was so sorry to hear such sad news. I will always remember the hours of enjoyment Ernie and I had playing cards at either your house or ours. And can’t forget Pat & you making the best fried pork chops for Ernie. Big Jim was always so bubbly and could always make you smile. He truly was one of a kind and will be missed by many. Sending hugs to each of you and prayers and thoughts. Your journey ahead won’t be easy But just know Big Jim (your father) will send you signs to let you know he is still by your side. Its been five years since Ernie passed and I get signs all the time. Sorry Billy and I couldn’t make it down to the memorial but will be there in spirit.
Love Donna and Ernie “in spirit”. Along with Billy.
So sorry to hear about Jim, just received the notification. When I arrived at SOD, Jim took me under his wing and taught me what Policing what all about after I thought I knew it all. His friendship and great attitude made working in SOD so enjoyable, I will dearly miss him. My condolences to his family. Fitz.

I had the pleasure of working with Jim while assigned to SOD many years ago. He was a formidable looking guy but with a very big heart. He was someone I always respected and still do. May you find comfort in your memories.
