I wish I could be there in person to support such A Great Family. As you know, Margaret & Jody, I fell in love with Gerry the moment I met him. He had a special way about him that made my soul smile. I truly valued my time with him. Those darn dates we went on! What fond memories to reflect on. Thank you for all the wonderful fruit from Swann Farms. There is another Angel looking over us & I am thankful for him Him. I’ll toast a beer to Gerry at The Jetty when I visit.

My condolences to Gerry’s family. Gerry was an all around good guy who never met a stranger. He was well liked, hard working, friendly, always very helpful and a reliable hunting buddy. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Margaret, Gail, Jody, and Trisha, I regret that I am not able to express my condolences in person. I am so sorry for your grief. Gerry was a dear friend and part of our family’s life for so many years. We will miss and cherish our memories of this fine man.
Forty five years with the phone company and I can honestly say that Gerry was, by far, the best boss a person could hope for. They broke the mold when he was born. My condolences to his family. R.I.P. my friend. I know that I also speak for a few guys who are no longer with us.
I just came across an old business card of Gerry’s and thought I would google his name. I hope you will still be able to receive my sincerest condolences to his family and friends! I worked with Gerry as a customer of SMC when I was employed by Frederick County Govt. We worked on some big projects and I always looked forward to his visits. He was a really good and kind man. My telecom career began with C&P in 1979 and it was always nice to talk about Ma Bell with Gerry.

Uncle Gerry was one of a kind – always a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He will be sorely missed, but I’m grateful for the long life he lived.
