Dolores Muelbe Sigler
November 11, 1931 – March 11, 2020
The Sigler family lost their beloved matriarch, Dolores Mae, who passed peacefully to heaven on March 11, 2020. A devout Catholic, born to Ludwig and Josephine Muelbe in Brooklyn, NY on 11/11/1931, she died one month to the day shy of celebrating her 67th wedding anniversary (April 11th) with her husband Ralph Jerome Sigler, Sr. who was the love of her life. Together they raised six boys, she will be greatly missed by her sons and their ever-growing families which includes: son, Ralph Jr. (Cheryl), his daughter Jamie Lynn O’Grady (Tim), his sons Ralph III (Jenny), Dustin (Jason); son Christopher (Leslie), his son Christopher Jr. (Monique), his daughters Brittany (Mike Nikol), Catherine (Matthew Eggleston) and his son Patrick (Desiray); son John (Allyson), his daughter Jessica (AJ Bererns), his son John Jr; Dean (Shelly), his son Dean Jr., his daughter Kara Anne and his son Mason; son David (Annette), his daughter Abby and son David Jr; son Justin (Renee), his son Justin Jr. and his daughter Rachel. Dolores also leaves ten great-grandchildren: Caitlyn, Ralph IV, Finn, Aidan, Harper, Kyli, Emma, Ellie, Evelyn and Isla.
Dolores’ priority in life was always her family, her boys and their families. She often said, “Friends come and go, but family is forever.” This was true as she moved her family from Brooklyn, NY, Massapequa, NY, Wilbraham, Massachusetts, Oneida, Wisconsin, Gross Ile, Michigan, Waterford, Michigan and Hutchinson Island, Florida, despite all of these moves, family remained first. Dolores numerous neighbors, friends and country club foursomes would say her feisty personality and approach to life, along with her trademark no nonsense attitude and sense of humor made her beloved by all.
An avid carpooler, spectator and fan to just about every sport and boy activities, she found time to be a den mother in scouting. Her passion was in her golf game which she taught to all of her boys, especially the etiquette of the game. Dolores and Ralph played golf well into their eighties. She remained calm teaching all six boys how to drive. Quite simply, Dolores was the happiest surrounded by her family. She truly enjoyed a vibrant and healthy life for the majority of her years.
She cherished time with her family and extended family at #25 Little Ocean Club on Hutchinson Island at the ocean, beach, pool, golf course and favorite dining places. Of course, she enjoyed her evening with a glass of chardonnay. Each family member is fortunate to have lifelong memories of an incredibly loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and neighbor. Dolores will always have a very special place in our hearts. Our faith teaches us she will always be watching over us from heaven. Peace to all.
Dolores also leaves behind her only sister Carol (Saul Federman dec) and their son, Saul Jr.
Cards and letters can be sent to Ralph Sigler, Sr. at Preston Pointe, #118, 1995 NW Cary Pkwy, Morrisville, NC 27560.

Very sorry to hear of Mrs. Sigler’s death. She was a big influence in my life as a teen and I admired her can-do attitude regarding her family and life. My deepest condolences to those whom she loved so well…
