Dianne E. Miffleton
March 10, 1942 – November 6, 2020

Dianne Elizabeth Miffleton, 78, of St. Leonard, Maryland passed away on November 6, 2020 in Washington DC. She was born on March 10, 1942 in Washington DC on March 10, 1942 to the late Oliver C and Mildred Yost Gutridge.
Dianne was married to the love of her life for almost 50 years. They moved to Calvert County in 1988 to live by the water. Together they enjoyed the firefighter’s life which included traveling to the Bahamas with friends as well as all the festivities that go along with this life. Walking the beach near their home and collecting seashells and driftwood was something they enjoyed doing together. Dianne’s love of the outdoors and wildlife was known by all. Her daily ritual was to feed her cats, birds, squirrels and racoons. No one went hungry. Its what made her happy. She was an amazing artist that truly missed her calling. We were all amazed by her talent. If you were important in her life, you would know it by her love of cards. One for every occasion, for sure. She was a truly genuine, selfless, special lady that people most precious in her life will always hold her close in their heart.
Dianne is survived by her daughter, Laura Loveless Barret (John Lynch), step daughters Sheryl Walsh ( Bill) and Diana Hill. Grandmother of Brandon Steven Barrett and Rachel Elizabeth Nalls, she is also survived by her sister Elaina Marie Moore.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2021 for both her and Ed. Contributions may be made to CAWL or Friends of Felines.

Laura — We are just finding out about Diane and Ed — and are so sorry to hear they have passed. They were great friends to us although we haven’t been together recently. Such great memories of times spent sitting on the back porch and catching up about the kids and what we have been doing. We are so sad to hear those times are gone. Thinking of you and your kids — and sending hugs and wishes that you have great memories to carry with you on your journeys.
Love, Dave and Ann Reinecke
