David, my brother in law, will be missed very much. There are not enough words to share of our many many great family times together. He put the word ‘Feast’ in Crab Feasts. Plus, nobody could make pulled pork the way David did (I hear it is a ‘Johnson-only’ sacred recipe). When David made pulled pork I would often cancel vacation plans in order to partake in this delicious delight.
David was very generous with both his time and his resources and was always there to offer advice which never steered me wrong. I will always be grateful to him.
When I think of David, I think of this poem:
Those we love
don’t go away
They walk beside us
everyday
Unseen, unheard
but always near
Still loved,
Still missed
and very dear.
David will always be with us.
Kaye. I am so sorry for your lost. Great memories of our carpooling time, especially on those awful snow days when David would drive us and keep us entertained all the way. I certainly could not have none those alone. May God help you and your family through this difficult time. Love

Kaye, my sister, my friend. There are no words for the sadness in my heart for you and your family. David was a kind and caring person who will be missed. I remember living with you in Norfolk when David was overseas and even when he came home. Not just any brother-in-law would do that. And he gave me the “Johnson secret BBQ sauce recipe”.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love and Hugs
