Dear Lori,
I was so sorry to hear of Chris’ passing. I know from the many talks Chris and I had through the years how much he truly loved and adored you. He was a true friend to me and we had a lot of laughs telling each other stories. He was a very good resourceful guy with tremendous knowledge of many different trades and experiences. He took me under his wing and was very helpful and made a tremendous impact in my transition from the Pentagon Building Managers Office to Naval Facilities Engineering Command at PAX River NAS. I loved listening to all of his stories and life experiences. I will always remember the times when he and I would be cutting up telling stories and crabbing on my boat. I know he will be looking in on you and James as he loved talking about his grandson often. Jill and I are thinking of you and be sure that our thought’s and prayers are with you and your family.
So sad to hear this. Chris was so interesting. I loved his stories about traveling the world and erecting communication towers. Who does that? I also enjoyed how he would rent an RV spot at the Solomon Navy Rec Center every year during the summer for his wife and grandkids to enjoy. I will miss you Chris…
I wish I could have been there today to say my goodbyes to Chris. He certainly was a fixture here at PWD Patuxent River. He was a good guy and always seemed to be around when you needed him. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers at Chris’ passing.
