Where Heritage and Life are celebrated.

Carolyn Mae Cramer

February 27, 1943- September 5, 2021

Carolyn Mae Cramer, 78, a 44 year resident of Tracy’s Landing went home to be with the Lord after a two year battle with cancer on September 5, 2021.  She was born on February 27, 1943 at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D.C., to the late Earl & Tessiel Archer. Carol was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, & Great Grandmother. She held many titles in her professional career, driving a school bus for Anne Arundel County, was employed with Nordstrom and Lakemont Cemetery, and was a secretary for her son’s business. Most of all, her passion was with Home Interiors & Gifts, where she made so many lifetime friends. She enjoyed cooking, house decorating, many cruises, and camping with friends and family. Her greatest joy of all was spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She attended Friendship Baptist Church when residing in Maryland, and Southwest Baptist Church when residing in Florida. Carol is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Joseph Cramer, Sr., her children, Joseph Cramer Jr. (Wendy) of Lothian, MD, Julia Windsor (Donald) of Lothian, MD, Janine Leapley (Joe) of Tracy’s Landing, MD, Jeffrey Cramer of Deale, MD, and James Cramer (Jill) of Blacksburg, VA., brother Dean Archer of Alexandria, VA, and sister Brenda Grubb of Pasadena, MD. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday October 9, 2021 at Friendship Community Baptist Church.
