I miss you, Aunt Barbara. Barbara was married for 68 years to Rudy Firmani, who passed in 2018. She was the last of 5 close siblings. My mother, Annie Laurie, was her older sister, and the two of them would speak on the phone every single day! When my brother, Rob, and I were growing up, we spent many weekends at Uncle Rudy & Aunt Barbara and Gary’s home eating crabs and swimming in their pool while the adults played cards. Many Thanksgivings were at their home, too, with both turkey and lasagne! She was a excellent cook. Aunt Barbara had a certain grace and style about her. Family was an important part of Aunt Barbara’s life. She and Uncle Rudy liked to travel, and while young, they traveled to Europe. She was kind and caring to my (and my brother’s) family and always invited us to visit. Her memory was extraordinary, and she never missed one of our birthdays, until the last year. Rest peacefully, Aunt Barbara. Love, Laurie
I am sorry to hear about my godmother Barbara’s passing. It has been years since I had spoken to her but I do cherish some good memories growning up across the street with her and Rudy. RIP Barbara. The Ialacci family sends our prayers and condolences to Gary, Natalie and Nina.

Aunt Barbara was a kind and generous person to my sister, myself and my sons. We will always remember her Thanksgiving dinners and our visits to Rudy, Barbara’s and Gary’s home in Riverdale. RIP.
Rob.
