At the end of my year as Rear Commodore I named Al as one of two Volunteers of the Year in commemoration of all the many outstanding activities he did for the club that year. It was very well-deserved! Al will be missed terribly.
All of us here at Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club send our sincere condolences, and Al was such a good friend of ours. We will miss him dearly, and he was an ICON at Solomon’s Island Yacht Club for all of us. He had such a wonderful smile and helpful attitude. Love to the entire Redfield family.

Al, I will miss your never ending smile and your teasing about “chicken fajitas “, and your almost daily calls with Tony about boats, and the pier. You were a true friend , a hard worker and a delightful guy.
You put up a hard fight and now it’s time to rest.
You will be missed.
Cynde, Scott, Christine and family, our sincerest condolences.
