Georgia Lee Messineo Miles, 82, of Randleman, North Carolina passed away on June 19, 2021 in Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC. She was born on October 19, 1938 to the late Jack and Florence Ziegler Messineo in Prince George’s County, Maryland where she lived most of her life.

Mrs. Miles worked in several movie theaters in her career as a manager. She enjoyed crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, reading true crime books, crossword puzzles, playing card games and talking on the telephone with family.  She also enjoyed listening to music.  Some of her favorite artists were Neil Diamond, Elvis Presley, and Engelbert Humperdinck.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Patrick”Pat” Michael Miles, Sr., two sisters, Ruth Leona Barnett and Florence Catherine (Chick) Miller, two brothers, Jack Andrew Messineo and William E. (Butch) Morgan; two daughters, Denise (Dede) Leona Miles Bower and Shannon Lee Miles Kemp, one son, Kenneth Victor Miles, and two grandsons, Troy Foster and Michael Victor Miles Garner.

Mrs. Miles is survived by her three sons, Patrick Michael “Mike” Miles, Jr. of High Point, NC, Brian Andrew Miles and his wife Andrea of Brandywine, MD, and Darren Elliott Miles of Greensboro, NC; a brother, Kenneth Victor Messineo of Suitland, MD; a sister, Shirley A. Patrick of Randleman, NC; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Miles, Brian Miles, Jr., Meaghan Kemp, Devin Kemp, David Lynch, Dana Bower, Dillon Bower, Christopher Miles, and Nichole Miles; three great-grandchildren, Isabella Kemp, David Lynch, Jr, and Andrew James Miles Cagle, and many other family members.
