We used Rausch's Funeral Home for my mother-in-law's funeral almost 14 years ago. They were awesome and caring and made a very difficult process so much easier. When my father-in-law passed away in November, there was no question about which funeral home we would use. From the planning, arranging a prepaid funeral, to transportation from the assisted living home 2 hours away, to the viewing and celebration of life service, to the trip to Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, Michael and the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The death of a loved one is always traumatic, but Michael, Bill and the folks at Rauch's made the process so much easier for us on both occasions.
My family always uses Rausch. We recently used it for my father's service. The staff were more than professional. They were caring and definitely were able to accommodate our needs. I would refer them to anyone.
They took care of my father 17 yrs ago, made the experience very smooth and pleasant. The most professional people I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. Recently they helped with my mother passing, as I expected they treated my family with the most respect, everything was done beautiful. My mother looked like she was sleeping. I have now coordinated 4 family funerals through Rausch's Owings funeral home. It is so comforting to work with the staff there. I have recently worked with Michael Demarest, and he walked me through all of the steps, made calls for me, and handled everything beautifully. They anticipated our needs before we knew them, and there were no worries about the visitation, the service, or the interment.
My husband passed away July 15, 2007... I have be extremely pleased with the professionalism of all of your employees...they have been exceptionally helpful and courteous.
