We are very saddened to hear this news. We never got the pleasure of meeting Winnie in person but will always treasure the way Bob and Kathy talked about her and how she light up his face with pride and being able to share experiences and family bonds.
Our love and prayers with her family and ours.
And when great souls die,
after a period peace blooms,
slowly and always
irregularly. Spaces fill
with a kind of
soothing electric vibration.
Our senses, restored, never
to be the same, whisper to us.
They existed. They existed.
We can be. Be and be
better. For they existed.
– Maya Angelou
I still have the trivet she made for me. I am still amazed by the fact that the DNA Ancestry test I gifted to Vicki ended up allowing Winne to connect with her brother and other relatives. God works in mysterious ways. I am happy she is at rest now.
Sincerely,
Doc

Winnie, we were born sister and brother but we only were together for a few years. Through the grace of God we found each other again, not for a long time but yet united again. Rest in peace. We will Meet again.
