William Sherman Chenault, Jr.
April 30, 1949- November 11, 2021

William Sherman “Pap Pap” or “Billy” Chenault, Jr., 72, of Huntingtown passed away November 11, 2021 at his home. He was born April 30, 1949 in Montgomery County to William Sherman Sr. and Nellie Mae (Mills) Chenault. Billy was raised in Wheaton and attended Wheaton High School where he developed his love for racing and working on cars. After graduation he worked in construction and home improvement before going to work for Giant Food Corporation as a truck driver. Following his retirement Billy started his own company, driving trucks and making deliveries all over the country. Billy enjoyed working on cars, playing Texas Hold’Em and slot machines, hunting, fishing, cookouts, and having a good time with family and friends.
Billy was preceded in death by his children Kimberly Kathy Burriss and William Scott Chenault, brother Robert Sherman Chenault and sister Kathy Marie Chenault. He is survived by six grandchildren, brother Rosier LeRoy Chenault and son in law Clifton Burriss.

Billy, I can’t believe this has happened. Just spoke to you prior to surgery. At least we told one another I love you and GOD BLESS. You truly were the other brother in my family. Very sorry to hear about Bill. I remember working with Bill at Giant Foods as truck driver. We made many of trips to New Jersey Delaware Pennsylvania mostly New Jersey. We always stopped at the best eating places Bill like that go to. I am very sorry for your loss.
