Sandy & Family,
Sonny was one of a kind. Always glad to see you, always caring, lots of laughs. I remember the
many times we all worked along side each other at Co.4 cooking breakfast for Easter Bunny, Santa,
the times we had dinners in the old building. Sandy, Clarke, Pam, and Tammy, also others. Trying to
raise a dollar to help with a new ambulance or to assist with items needed for the new squad. We had a lot of
laughs. Sonny & my Uncle Ebby where great friends and fishermen. Good thing those fish couldn’t talk.
Sandy, Sonny loved you like no tomorrow. He was very proud of his children and a very special relationship.
His grandchildren were his world. Sonny would do anything for anybody. I remember his mother & father
& he was their mold. Sonny, we will miss you with all our hearts, but you’re at peace and with no pain. We will all be
together one day. God be with your family during this time and hold them dear in the time to come. God Bless.
Sonny came to my aid the night my first child was born (at home). A gentle voice and a steady hand — he was my hero! He earned my lifelong respect and admiration. My son will be 50 years old Jan. 6… Mrs. Thomas Wayne Hutchins
Sonny, as an authorized spokesman for the Cancer Center at Georgetown University Hospital, provided me with guidance and the physician team at the hospital. They performed experimental surgery to remove my cancer which saved my life. His volunteerism has proven his life saving accomplishments and a true hero. To a great man and father: We thank you.
To Sandy and the whole Brady family, Sonny was loved by so many, I enjoyed all the great times we had cooking at the Lodge. I am so happy to know that you loved the Good Lord Above and are in Heaven right now, Healthy , Happy and completely Healed. I will truly miss you Sonny. With all my Heart, Boo
We send our most sincere condolences to all of the Brady Family. Sonny was a wonderful, bright-spirited, giving man who contributed much love and kindness to this world. It was wonderful to have him as part of the family and we were fortunate to have spent memorable times together getting to know him and enjoy his company.
To the Brady Family – Our deepest sympathy to you all at this sad time. We knew Sonny for many, many years and knew what a caring person he was. He was a legend at the Rescue Squad and I even rode in his namesake ambulance during one of my illnesses. He was an excellent cook and we enjoyed many meals he prepared over the years. He was truly a good friend and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it and let’s not forget that he was also an excellent carpenter.
RIP Sonny you will be sorely missed. Thoughts and prayers to you all.
