Wanda L. Mudd, 75, of Huntingtown, MD passed away October 24, 2023. She was born September 12, 1948, in Montross, VA to Omey (Caudill) Booth and Claiborne Neal Booth, Sr.

Wanda worked for public utility companies and for a private law firm for many years. In 1993, she was employed by the Calvert County Circuit Court, from which she retired as Court Administrator in 2011.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Samuel A. Mudd, Sr., granddaughter Katelynn Alderman, 9 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by her children Joseph Neal Alderman and his wife Phyllis of Eldersburg, MD, Amanda June Bowen and her husband Scott of Huntingtown, MD, and William Andrew Alderman and his wife Michelle of Lynchburg, VA, stepson Samuel A. “Alex” Mudd, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Sunderland, grandchildren Jennifer Crowley and her husband Sean, Blake Alderman, Nicole and Lauren Bowen, and Mason and Brandon Mudd, great-grandchildren Paige Gibbons, and Sean Crowley, and one brother.
