I remember Aunt Ursula coming to Mobile to help us with her expertise in having a yard sale. She was thrilled to be involved with such a huge undertaking. She brought home some of the things to sell at her home flea market. She was definitely in her element with all those “treasures”…
Must be she was one too!
Well Auntie Ursula, if you’re going to go, might as well have no clue that you’re going. I remember all your bears, and little music figurines. Your gypsy ways 🙂 Enoy that miles long vintage market in the sky, I hope you find lots of fun treasures, rest in peace, we’ll see you on the flipside.
I knew Ursula as a co-volunteer at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center in Edgewater. She was always such a friendly, kind, interested and interesting person! She loved teaching school groups about oysters and crabs. She adored interesting jewelry and used to tell me about the jewelry shows she attended. My sincere condolences to Andy and all of her family and close friends. I miss her.

Dear Mary and family,
I am so sorry for your loss, I know how much you adored her. And now I know where your love of garage sales comes from.

New Years just wasn’t the same without Ursula and our plans for it was the last thing I talked about with her. I miss her visits and working with her at SERC. Keeping her family in my thoughts and prayers.
