Thomas Robert Fealy
July 15, 1951 – February 3, 2022

Thomas Robert Fealy, 70, of Huntingtown, MD, passed away February 3, 2022, at his home. He was born in 1951 in Washington, D.C. to Jack and Helen Fealy. Tom was a talented mechanic and spent most of his career maintaining buses and vehicles for the Prince George’s County School Board.
Tom was an avid shooter and gun collector who spent a lot of time on his Harley Davidson. In 2007, he took a cross-country motorcycle trip and saw much of the nation from two wheels. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of classic rock music and loved competing with Jeopardy contestants from the couch.
Extremely outgoing, Tom loved making an entrance at parties and was the center of attention as soon as he swaggered into a room. His effortlessly cool presence was complemented by his mustache, leather coat, and gregarious personality.
Tom is survived by his daughter, Shannon Acton and grandsons Dillon Acton and Maxwell Acton of Severn, brothers Michael Fealy and John Fealy, and sister Ranleigh Payne. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Helen, and brother Frank.
Tom deeply valued friendships and made friends wherever he went. For just about anything you’d ever need, he “knew a guy.” He will be greatly missed all over Maryland and beyond. Our deep sorrow is evidence of just how much he was loved.
“And in the end
The love you take
Is equal to the love you make”-
Lennon–McCartney

Tommy was a great childhood friend from the Chillum neighborhood! We had some really fun times while growing up at St. John’s. As most kids do, we grow older and farther apart. Rest in peace, my friend. You’re remembered fondly!

Cousin Tom, It’s been a long time since we had a visit. I’m so sorry you’ve gone before me. Thinking of you, your motorcycle rides oh how you loved them and your big Lincoln. We enjoyed lots of laughs. RIP Cousin Steve and MK
Sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. Tom was a great guy to know and to work with. He gave so much of his knowledge to his friends and the guys he worked with at the school system, always sharing his experiences and his love for his guns and motorcycles. I will miss Tom’s smiling face and the carefree life he led. I will always keep Tom in my memories. Sincerely, David Burgess
Tom, I met you many years ago when Mike and Mary got together and married. You and I were paired up as one of the Groomsman (you) and I was 1 of Mary’s Bridesmaid. That was when I really got to know Tom’s personality of a wonderful, happy to help in any situation type man. It was then part of the Fealy Family that I became a welcome member to their Family. Many times, seeing Tom at Family functions. I had a crush on you, but you were already taken (married with Sandy and father to Shannon) I could not interrupt such I grew to love you from a distance. However, I could never get you to take me on a motorcycle ride. WE both liked them. TOM, I will miss you greatly my friend, somewhat a brother too. Now it is your time to go ride the skies and see the places you only dreamed of! Be Free of ailments, drama and chaos, down here where the living humans plant their feet. You have no more worry or Pain! Remember…you will always be in our hearts until we meet again, in Heaven… I hope!! We were all good here. I know so! See you in the Heavens. Bye Dear Tom, I will miss you greatly.
May God Bless your family, let them remember the happiness that you brought to them and others. Goodbye my friend I will miss our Motorcycle rides, Range time and shooting pool. But mostly I will remember your coming through for me when I needed help with Mom. May God Bless and keep you and accept you into his Kingdom of Heaven.
You have my deepest condolences. This may seem strange but I didn’t know your dad. However, I was from Upper Marlboro and my dad worked for the Prince George’s County Board of Education from the 1940’s until he passed in 1965. My dad was shop foreman and worked on the trucks and buses. Sometimes, he would take me to the Greenbelt lot with him. I miss him greatly but I am smiling thinking of him and hoping he can show your dad the ropes up in heaven. I hope you have many great remembrances, too.
There is no stronger bond than that of brother & brother, sister & sister or brother & sister. Tom in talking with some of your friends over the last several days, you were able to build just as strong of a bond with each and every one of them. You may be gone in body, but your spirt lives on within us all. We will miss seeing you, but we can still talk with you. Rest easy my brother until our next fist bump. Love You Michael
Ride on Bro you’re the modern day Bronson! Although I’ve only seen you once since 1970, I’ll always remember you as a great guy that was very outgoing and friendly. We had a chance to catch up at the 2010 40th class reunion. You even walked me to the car as I was leaving, and we talked some more. You’re a very charismatic and genuine guy. RIP my good man. See you in a few years!
We are so sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. Tom would visit my father, Paul, often with the two of them talking endlessly about everything imaginable. They were both very opinionated! It was always a good time spent . Our sincerest condolences to the family.

Tom I will miss your easy smile, laugh, and gregarious nature. You reminded me at times of my dad, your middle namesake. I remember you showing up at our house, on your motorcycle, in Culpeper just because you were in the neighborhood, though you did say you were visiting your boarded horse!! Leaving impressions on David for your cool motorcycle and Cammie because of a horse! ????. Love, Marcia
