Thomas Gordon “Tommy” Marshall, 90, of Tracy’s Landing, MD died March 19, 2025. He was born October 3, 1934 in Deale, MD to Edna Ford and Bernard A. “Dukey” Marshall. He was raised in Deale on Rockhold Creek, and spent his time crabbing and fishing, his two favorite activities. Tommy was trained as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army and was Honorably Discharged March 31, 1963. His career path included plumbing and working as a pipefitter, and later was a nuclear reactor field test specialist and inspector in the nuclear power industry across the U.S. and Mexico. Tommy’s interests included hunting, fishing, and bird watching, especially the many species of ducks, and watercolor painting.

Tommy was married to Lillian Wilkerson for sixty-five years, and they lived and raised their family in Tracy’s Landing. He was preceded in death by his wife Lillian who passed away March 10, 2025, by his parents, and by his brothers Bernard Marshall and Norman “Buddy” Marshall. He is survived by a son Thomas Glenn Marshall and wife Leverta, a daughter Mary Diana Marshall, one grandson and three step-granddaughters.
