Terri Lynn Troutman
November 29, 1952 – December 12, 2021
Terri Lynn Troutman, 69, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family on December 12, 2021, after a long illness.
Terri was born on November 29, 1952 in Washington, D.C. to Glenna Mae Taylor and Harold Gilbert Taylor. She grew up in Prince George’s County (College Park & Beltsville) with her parents and younger sister, Debbie. She graduated from High Point High School in Beltsville, Maryland in 1970. Terri retired from Computer Science Corporation in 2006. Terri was a people person, always glad to see everyone and willing to give a hand or step in to help in any way. She did NOT know how to say “no” to anyone who needed help. Terri’s pride and joy were her two daughters and seven grandchildren. Terri was a quintessential Momma-Bear and would move mountains for her girls, if necessary. She was a single mom who worked relentlessly to give her girls everything they could possibly need and want, especially hugs and kisses!
Terri loved animals of all types, but none more than her beloved late puppies, Dusty, Maggie, Coco and Cookie. They had every toy and coat you could imagine. Her lap was never empty.
Terri loved to sing…even if she didn’t hit every note or know the words. She was always humming or singing to herself, be it to the radio, through every movie, commercial and especially through Football games. HAHA
Besides spending time with her family and pups, Terri loved spending time at her church, First Lutheran in Sunderland, MD. She was a woman of deep devoted faith. She loved her church friends and was a proud member of the church choir and the altar guild. Terri was amazingly skilled at arts and crafts. When home, she always had a crochet needle in her hands working on a baby blanket for friends, family or even for people she didn’t know. Terri also loved making jewelry, but it was making crafts with her grandkids that she loved most.
Terri is survived by her daughter Traci A. Evans, son-in-law William (Doc), grandchildren William II, Nathanial, Benjamin and Kaitlyn of Owings, Maryland and daughter Patricia L. Morse, son-in-law Adam and granddaughters Olivia, Alyson and Elena of Ellicott City, Maryland. Terri is also survived by her sister, Deborah Taylor Goldbach, brother-in-law John C. Goldbach and nephew John P. Goldbach, his wife Kimberly and their daughter Lily of St. Mary’s County, MD.

Dear Traci and Patti, Gib and I are so very sad to hear of my dear friend, Terri’s passing. Her smile, laugh, and giving heart will be greatly missed! I’m thanking God for putting her in my life … we shared so much …church choir, leading Youth Group, and of course our love for the Lord! Our Prayers go with you!
Dear Family,
Terri worked for me at CSC may moons ago. She was a wonderful person and a great employee. I remember that she always came to work with a smile, a positive attitude and a willingness to help out in any way. We shared a love for animals and traded many stories about our furry friends. She made many friends at CSC and we’re all heartbroken to hear this news. My condolences to you and your extended family.
Dear Family,
The sad news of Terri’s passing is traveling swiftly through the creative team at DXC (formerly CSC). I, and her former colleagues, are devastated to hear the news. So many memories of joy having Terri around. She really was the sweetest person on the planet. She was fiercely proud of her beautiful daughters and even though we never met, I felt like I knew both Traci and Patricia. Family was everything to Terri and she made us all feel like we, too, were extensions of her own family. She drove so far everyday to work with us in Falls Church, she loved her work, and she lit up every room she entered. It’s wonderful to see that she was surrounded by so many grandchildren, who must have been showered with her endless love and affection.
I know that Terri will be deeply missed. I extend my sincerest condolences and sympathy to your entire family. No doubt all the best bits of Terri will linger on in her daughters and grandchildren. I’m so very sorry for your loss.
With sadness, but fond memories,
Mary Jo Ondrejka
Dear Traci, Patti, and Debbie,
Terri supported my group for many years at CSC’s MTC facility in Maryland. She was a joy to work with – always smiling and willing to help everyone. She spoke often about her family, so, even though I have never met any of you, I feel like I knew your Dad, Harold, and Debbie, and Traci, Doc and your children, and Patti, Adam, and your children. My children often visited our office and knew Terri and her ever present candy jar well. They, too, send their condolences.
We are grateful to have had Terri in our lives and extend our deepest sympathy to your family.
Dear Patti,
I am so very sorry for your loss. It is so strange that we were talking about your Mom last Sunday at Kathy and Jack’s. Please take comfort knowing that your Mom was proud of the woman you’ve become. You and Adam and the girls were a special gift to your Mom. I lifted you and the entire family up in prayer at church today. My prayers will continue. If there is anything I can do please let me know. Love and Blessings, Jan

I worked with Terri at CSC in Virginia for many years until she transferred to an office in Maryland. She was always a delight to work with and could not have loved her daughters more. Rest well Terri.

My heart is broken. Terri and I were friends for 40 years. I will miss our time together, her smile, and that wonderful laugh.
