Stephanie Lyann Boothe, 54, of Dunkirk passed away December 4, 2023, at her home. The youngest of seven children, she was born September 11, 1969, in Washington, D.C. to Jimmy and Frances (Elza) Coontz. She was raised in Capitol Heights and moved with her family to North Beach in the 1980’s, graduating from Northern High School. She married Matthew Boothe in July 2002, and they lived in North Beach before moving to Dunkirk. She was primarily a homemaker and loved being with her family and friends, especially her granddaughter. She also enjoyed sweet tea and watching NCIS.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Matthew Boothe, Sr., stepdaughter Sami Boothe, and brothers Steve and Johnny Coontz. She is survived by son Matthew S. Boothe, Jr. and fiancé Katie Wallce of Chesapeake Beach, daughter Ashely C. Boothe of Dunkirk, and granddaughter Braelynn Rose Savoy. Also surviving are sisters Cathy Taylor and Tina Nickless and brothers Mark and Michael Coontz.

This is a total shock !May she rest in peace with Matt and her family find comfort knowing they are together. Such a great loss
