Sondra Sue Loveless, 53, of Owings passed away September 30, 2022. She was born March 3, 1969, in Annapolis to Richard Dwight Sr. and Nancy Carol (Wood) Osbourn. Sondra was raised on her family’s farm and graduated from Northern High School in 1987. She married Barry Loveless in 1996 and they lived on the family farm in Owings. Sondra worked eighteen years for Calvert County Public Schools, first as a substitute teacher at Northern Middle and High Schools, then as the Attendance Secretary for Northern High School. She was well known for her vast knowledge of students past and present, as well as their family around the county. In her summers and school vacations, Sondra enjoyed traveling and camping with her family. At home on the family farm, she enjoyed crafting, baking, tending to her gardens and plants, and listening to classic country music. Sondra was fascinated with her family history and genealogy and was happy to share her large family’s ancestry with anyone who would listen. Sondra was a well-rounded, caring, compassionate person and will be greatly missed.
Sondra is survived by her loving husband Barry, daughter Bailey Marie Casselman, granddaughter Camelia Meredith Casselman, parents Dwight and Nancy Osbourn, and brothers Richard and Jeffrey Osbourn. She was preceded in death by her sister Vicki Marie Osbourn.
