I cannot even find the words to express how much I am going to miss Shirley. She was always there for me with advice, prayers, love, friendship. I am so happy that my husband and I got to have dinner with Shirley and Bob in Indianapolis last fall while they were on a cross country trip. Rest in easy peace, my dear sister and friend. I’ll never forget you šŸ’œ

What a truly nice woman. Warm , friendly, prayers and sound advice. Her husband stood quietly as we admired her sense of fashion and fragrance. We all did this while standing in the dirt and heat. She was a customer at a vegetable stand. We will miss seeing her, we offer our condolences. Bonnie Burris and Joe Bylan

So sorry to see this. She helped several times at the Democratic Booth on election days and was so fun to talk to. A wealth of information and an amazing mind. Sincere condolences to her family and friends. RIP.

I’m so sad to just find this out 😢 I met Shirley at Andrews Air Force Base in 1976 when I started worked at AFSC. Shirley was so helpful to me & we became great friends. I got married in 1977 & moved out of the area & we lost contact until we reconnected on Facebook. It was nice catching up with her on all the fun times we had. She was a wonderful woman & great friend. She will be forever missed. Heaven gained an Angel.
