Sherry Lee Jubane

August 27, 1960- August 3, 2022

Sherry Lee Jubane of Lusby, Maryland died suddenly on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Calvert Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family and friends. Born on August 27, 1960, Sherry is survived by her husband Donald Stotler, her son James Jubane and wife Carrie, daughter Ashley Richardt and husband Vincent, daughter Skylar Jubane, and grandson Ethan Jubane. She is additionally survived by her siblings Debra Balbaugh and husband John, Dawn Scott and husband Brad, and brother James Jubane. She was predeceased by her parents William Jubane and Eileen Sarles, and her daughter Brittany Stotler.

She was born in Washington, DC and grew up in the Maryland suburbs and graduated from Southern High School in Harwood, Maryland in 1979. She spent most of her life in Southern Maryland raising her family while passionately caring for others. She tirelessly provided homecare for the homebound whether infants or the elderly. She additionally found time to run a home cleaning business. She had a bright and energetic personality and was always on the go! She always put people first and would immediately respond to a call for help at the drop of a hat. When her busy schedule allowed, she enjoyed getting away to relax at the poolside while working on a tan. In addition to loving her family and her pup “Gizmo,” she was an enthusiastic, die-hard lifelong Washington Redskins Fan! She made a real impact on all those lives she touched. She will be missed by so many!

Following this service, family and friends are invited to gather at the Calvert Elks Lodge #2620 on Dares Beach Road in Prince Frederick, MD 20678 to honor the life of this truly wonderful woman.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Sherry’s name to your charity of choice.

How our hearts ache for you This is a tragedy we never saw coming. You were always so full of energy. I can still remember the day your Dad introduced you to Donnie. Over forty years ago. I don’t know what he’s going to do without you. You have been their staple. Watch over them. I’m gonna miss you girl. Wish I could hear that loud voice one more time!! I love you.

As soon as I heard the message it was not something I was willing to accept, it just couldn’t be true! The love your heart had is beyond anyone I’ve ever known!!! I am so proud and honored to be a part of your life, 28 years is a lifetime!!! I know you are in Heaven and watching over your kids & E (they were your entire reason), Don, family and friends!!! I trust God and you so I know physically you’re not here but in any/every other way you are!!!
I love you all to INFINITY AND BEYOND! Take the rest you so deserve!!!

You’re their second mom. That’s how my kids refer to you to anyone that hasn’t yet the pleasure of making your acquaintance. And I must say you come up often in conversation. You have had an enormous impact on their lives over the last 28 years. To them, there never was a time that you weren’t. You were a part of their lives since their very first memory. Thank you for lots and lots of wonderful memories. I will think of you often.
    Until we meet again~
