Sean Ripley Arthur, 61, of Dunkirk passed away August 20, 2022. He was born October 13, 1960, in Washington, D.C. to Franklin Albert and Sue (Ripley) Arthur. Raised in Clinton, Sean graduated from Surrattsville High School and Lincoln Tech. He met his wife Penelope Woods on March 9, 1990, marrying July 28, 2011. Sean and Penny made their home in Dunkirk. Sean, a Marylander through and through, loved cold beer, hot crabs, the Redskins and NASCAR. As a car enthusiast he spent many years collecting and working on cars and racing them at the Maryland International Raceway. Sean had a kind, generous heart and liked nothing more than helping his friends and family.

September 5 – Obituary: Sean Ripley Arthur
Penny and Family…
We were stunned to read of Sean’s passing. He was the most caring friend one could have. If you were going through some rough times, he was always there to lend a hand…or just listen when needed. So kind, generous, and his love for you Penny, and his family was so endearing.
Our memories of the good ole days will last in our hearts forever. Our deepest sympathy goes out to you Penny and all of Sean’s family. You are in our thoughts every moment…
Mitch and Cheryl
