Fire on the beach, feet in the sand, line in the water, drink in hand waiting on the big one until we meet again catching the big one in heaven.

A very good friend you have been and will be remembered Rusty. I have so many good memories and there were countless times when you helped me out of genuine kindness and friendship to improve the Neeld property. Rest well old friend.
Jay
My friend Kirra and I would always walk the gravel path at the cottages waiting for Rusty to be outside with his jar of fruit roll ups or his jar of different candies. We would always look forward to getting these treats and this will be a memory of mine that will live on forever. He made my childhood so great at the beach, so many great memories
So sorry to hear of Rusty’s leaving us. Regularly, sometimes daily over the past 18 years, we took a walk along the bay, passing Rusty as he fished. He was always friendly and would often report a large catch, a nice arrowhead or sharks tooth he had discovered. You could always count on Rusty for a smile and a hello. The last time we saw him, he invited us to stop by and get a fresh catch. We were saddened to hear of his passing.
As I pass his favorite fishing spot, I will say a little prayer and think of Rusty, knowing that he is a a beautiful peaceful place, that passes all understanding.
