I’m so sorry to hear of Russell’s passing. He was a great guy, and one of the best people working at the Capital Centre. Russell and I have wildly different musical tastes, and I will fondly remember teasing him about listening to Little Feat, Steely Dan and the Seldom Scene. I remember Russell and his co-hort, Mark, walking the building before the doors opened, “Smokey’s guys.” He saved me many times when I missed a cue (and never let me forget it. LOL.) Years after I left the organization, I would occasionally get updates from my husband that he had seen Russell and said hello. To me, Russell always had the best seat in the house, way up top the Capital Centre, with his finger on the button whenever the Caps scored. I will truly miss him. God bless.

Russell and I worked together at the Capital Centre many years ago. He was good at his job and a pleasure to work with. He will be missed.
Uncle Russell was a great man, tremendous Uncle and a guitarist, and sports fan I will always look up to in admiration. We miss and love you Uncle Russell.
