Rose and family, So very sorry to learn this news! We have many fond memories of Rick and Pack/ Troop 422. His hard work, dedication … and big smile … positively impacted many scouts and their families. Our deepest sympathy, Steve and Sue Godwin
Dear Denise and family, I am so sorry and sad to hear of Rick’s passing. I hope you find peace and strength during this hard time. I will always hold dear childhood memories of ‘Ricky’ in my heart. Our parents were friends before we were born. He was my first best friend and he had the best laugh! Love and Hugs, Heidi Fuchs Brotherton
It is with great sadness that I hear of the passing of one of the finest young men I ever had the privilege of going to school with. Ricky was a friend to everyone, and he treated everyone with kindness. I only knew him from school, but that was enough to be touched by his ability to make you feel like his friend for life. May God bless his family & may they be comforted during this time.
My sincerest condolences to the Boito family. We are both members of RHVFD back in the day. Rick always had a positive attitude and a great smile for everyone. We were able to get together with other RHVFD members for lunch last year. Even though he was not feeling well, he still had his smile and laugh. No more suffering. Rest in Peace Rick. You will be missed by all that the pleasure of knowing you.
Growing up in the same neighborhood with Rick , LIFE LEFT RICK WITH MANY TRIALS WITH LOSING HIS MOM AT YOUNG AGE . AND DEALING WITH MANY MANY OTHER ISSUES IN HIS LIFE. I REMEMBER him along with three others, Steve Cherry,Bernie Fox and Mike Henley go to the Chesapeake ranch club playing tricks on us girls, remember babysitting his wife Rose before all of us grew up and went our separate ways. MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO DENISE HIS SISTER AND RICK,’S CHILDREN .

Rose…Tommy Grimes…I worked with your man at Ted Britt VW Mazda. I was thinking about Rick and those guys from my first factory parts job…I looked for your man two years too late…I’m so sorry to hear. I learned much about people from this side of the counter, from him. He had a story from those that thought we were a Dodge dealership to “yeah yeah yeah…just give me my change” (edited for all ages). Hope family has been well and you have peace.
