Ron’s passing is still hard to fathom, yet all too real. Seeing him on his sailboat is a lovely final image – doing what he loved with your home in the background. Praying for healing and a feeling of Shalom for you and all your family and friends.
Ron was the epitome of the GQ guy to me. He was the guy from the big city, college frat guy who dressed with style, danced like a dream, drove a ‘Vette and had a grin and infectious laugh that would melt your heart. He was such a fine man and father and friend ( even if he did throw my cactus into the garbage disposal ). He taught me to love jazz. He was a brilliant man who I can only say now is sailing high throughout the sky…. those blue eyes twinkling through the stars. I’ve missed you RJ. You’ll be missed even more now until we meet again.
To Ron and Linda and the whole family I want to thank you. Ron is such a beautiful and fun man who inspires fun to everyone who had the privilege to know and love him and his family. My husband Fred and my Dad Russ each considered him dear friends and so do I. Losing Ron is a loss in this world but his contribution to lives will always be remembered and appreciated. Thank you Ron! And thank you Linda for all your friendship and kindness and love. Sincerest thoughts of fun, laughter and never ending joke-telling. Such fond memories of our boating. Love to my Maryland family, Jen and Samantha Herrmann
Ron and I had so many incredible memories together. When we were very young. Our families enjoyed great times together; he and I were fraternity brothers from college and continued our friendship long into our adult years. my deepest sympathies to his beautiful family & his kind and sweet wife Linda. He always entertained us with his seemingly endless library of jokes which always made us laugh and his skills as a sailor and as an overall great human being are ones to admire; I will miss you buddy! Linda- I know how close you and Ron were, know you did so much together. If I can do anything for you, please let me know. I will not intrude in your life right now to follow your wishes.
