Richard Keith "Ricky" Fultz

Richard Keith “Ricky” Fultz, 73, a longtime resident of Deale, MD passed away October 11, 2026. He was born November 4, 1952 in Deadwood, SD to Hollis W. and Maureen Katherine (O’Brien) Fultz. Ricky graduated from Bladensburg High School in 1970. He married Karen on October 2, 1971 and they made their home in Deale. Ricky worked as a production manager for William H. Metcalf and Sons for over 50 years. He was an active member of the Deale Elks Lodge and in his spare time he enjoyed music, golf cart rides, and golfing. His biggest joy however was spending time with Karen and his family. Ricky was an uncle and father to many and he will be greatly missed.

Ricky is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Karen Fultz of Deale, son Toby Fultz of Churchton, sisters Catherine Hedrick and her husband Les of Hughesville and Mary Chase of Owings, nieces and nephews Sherri Parker and husband Edward, Christy Randall and husband Robert, Ryan Gallagher, Megan Deaner and husband Jimmy, Katie Boatwright and husband Brett, Blair Weaver and husband Jay, and Billie Orr and husband Dusty, as well as many great nieces and nephews, and one great-great nephew. Ricky was preceded in death by his nephew Firefighter Kenny Hedrick.
