Ray Michael Goshorn
May 13, 1990 – February 27, 2023
Ray Michael Goshorn, 32, of Saint Leonard passed away February 27, 2023. Ray (or as his immediate family called him, Michael) was born and raised in Calvert County. After graduating high school in 2008, he joined the local 602 steamfitter union where he worked for 9 years. He went on to obtain his Master Mechanic (refrigeration/air condition) and Master License (Plumber/Gasfitter) to establish his own company. Michael had impeccable work ethic, he was so driven, and talented in everything he did. He had a plan in life to be successful and that he was.
Michael treasured his family and friendships. He loved shooting hoops, playing soccer and video games with his niece and nephew. He loved to travel, go kayaking, boating, crabbing and fishing, anything related to being on the water. He kept his circle tight, but those that were in it were lucky. He would do anything for anyone. Michael will be remembered as a strong, gentle, and kindhearted man. He is gone too soon from this world and will be deeply missed.
Michael is survived by his parents Ray and Terri Goshorn of Saint Leonard, his sister Amy and husband Justyn Lankford of Broomes Island, and his niece Aubree and nephew Austyn Lankford.
A Celebration of Life for Michael will be announced at the visitation and services.

I am so very sorry and heartbroken to hear of Ray’s tragic passing. I have such fond memories of watching him grow up with Eli and the rest of the St. Leonard crew. He had such a loving, close family and he grew into an amazing young man. I pray for healing for his family and friends and I hope you can all find peace knowing he is in the arms of our Lord and will forever be protected from pain and sorrow.
Corey told me the horrific news which broke my heart. Coaching Ray In basketball was pure joy. He and Corey were always close in sports and friendship so I got to see early on what a great young man he was destined to be. I’m so, so sorry for your loss❤️
