Ralph Leonard Morgan, Sr.

Ralph Leonard Morgan, Sr., of St. Leonard, MD, passed away June 22, 2026, in Calvert Health Medical Center, Prince Frederick, MD. Ralph was born on September 29, 1939, in Oraville, St. Mary’s County, MD. He was one of 12 children born to the late Peter C. and Edna E. (nee Robinson) Morgan.

Ralph worked for the Calvert County government as an Animal Warden until his retirement. He also farmed tobacco. Ralph enjoyed looking for shark’s teeth on the Patuxent River shore. He also enjoyed gardening, hunting, and talking nightly to friends and family.

Father of Ralph L. “Len” Morgan, Jr., Randall L. “Randy” Morgan, and Tracy L. Thomas. Grandfather of Mica Morgan, Brandon Thomas, Andrew Morgan, Erica Thomas, and Kyle Morgan. Great Grandfather of Micayla Morgan, Gianna Morgan, and Brianna Long. Brother of the late Stanley Morgan, Nancy Jones, Jack Morgan, Phyllis Bowles, the late Lawrence Morgan, Edna Kurrle, Pauline Shakra, David Morgan, Goldie Nutwell, the late Robin Mattingly, and the late Francis Morgan.

Inurnment at Chesapeake Highlands Memorial Gardens and a subsequent Celebration of Life will be private. Email Ralph19392026@gmail.com for more information.
