Richard,
When I saw your condolence, a flood of memories with you and Dennis playing music, ran through my mind. Heather remembered when you two played for a telethon, on TV. I have pictures of the time when you and Dennis played on someone’s boat, under a covered shed at one of the marinas. I don’t remember what you guys called it, but I know it had the word ‘shed’ in it. My mom and I had a great time at Bowen’s Inn one evening, with you and Dennis playing music there, even though there was really no one else there in the back room. We didn’t care. We had a blast! I think my most memorable time was when you two played music here at our house, for mine and Alfie’s 25th wedding anniversary. Thank you for being a good friend to Dennis. Long live John Prine. May he and Dennis play together, finally!

I played a lot of music with Dennis as Watershed back in the day and I have a lot of great memories jamming and just hanging out and having fun with him in and around Solomons. He was hilarious and could do great impersonations. Thoughts go out to Mari & Mike and the extended family. RIP my Brother!

Graduated with Dennis in 1970. He did have a sense of humor for sure. He was quick witted and really funny. Reminded me of David Spade. John Prine was my husband’s favorite artist. I sang him Daddy won’t you take me back to Muhlenberg county when he was passing. So sorry to hear the news.
