Paul David “Moose” Musumeci
April 27, 1978 – August 20, 2024
Paul David “Moose” Musumeci, 46, of Lusby, MD, passed away on August 20, 2024, at his home, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories. Born on April 27, 1978, in Prince Frederick, MD, Paul grew up in a community he would later call home for much of his life.
A graduate of Calvert High School in 1996, Paul furthered his education at the American Motorcycle Institute, graduating in 1999. His passion and skill led him to a successful career as a Nuclear Mechanic with The Atlantic Group at Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant. Later, he became an Operator for Talen Energy, dedicating 21 years to the industry before retiring in 2022.
In Prince Frederick, Paul married the love of his life, Nicole Musumeci. Together, they built a beautiful life and celebrated 22 years together. Paul was a devoted family man who found immense joy in spending time with his loved ones. One of his most treasured traditions was the annual family vacation to the Outer Banks, where countless memories were made.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Paul was a loyal fan of the Washington Redskins (Commanders) and the Washington Wizards. Some of his happiest moments were spent cheering on the Wizards with his two sons at live games, a tradition that will forever be remembered by those who shared it with him.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Nicole Musumeci, and their three children: Logan, Austin, and Morgan, all of Lusby, MD. He also leaves behind his adored “fur babies,” Bubbas and Princess, who were a source of great comfort and joy in his life.
Paul’s life was a testament to the importance of family, friendship, and passion. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

I am thinking of you all during this time. I wish I could make the trip to pay my respects to a wonderful man, friend, loving father, and spouse. I will hold dear all the fond memories he provided to our family. RIP Paul, you will be missed always. I love you ♥️
Condolences for the Moose family. Our family loved the times we spent with Paul years and years ago. He was sweet, kind and funny. He was easy to hang with. Seth and I were sad to hear of his passing. Can’t fathom the heartbreak you all are experiencing but we know it’s a huge loss. Paul was one of those people that had the charisma that makes you likeable to everyone but not everyone has that personality!
Sending you all prayers for peace and comfort as you grieve.
