Patricia Dellar
November 15, 1947 – April 22, 2024
Patricia Dellar, 76, of Huntingtown, Maryland, passed away on April 22, 2024, at her home with her loving family by her side. Born on November 15, 1947, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Franklin and Florence (Krantz) Fong. Patricia was raised in the District of Columbia and graduated from Anacostia High School class of 1966. She married Frederick Dellar in 1969, and they made their home in Cheltenham, Maryland, then moved to Calvert County in August of 1985. Patricia worked in various positions throughout her life, most notably as an accountant for the Communications Satellite Corporation (COMSAT) and for Edison Electric Institute. She loved gardening, quilting, playing tennis, and supporting her daughters in their own passions; whatever made Patricia’s family happy, made her happy.
Patricia is survived by her husband Frederick “Fred” Alexander Dellar; her daughter Bridget Dellar; siblings Shirley Ash (Roland), Loretta DeLelle, and David Fong; brother-in-law William L. Dellar; cousins Mary West, Patti Leino, and Stephen West; nieces and nephews Shannon DeLelle, Jeff DeLelle, Zachary Fong, Franklin David Fong (Laura), Arlen Ash (Chelsea), Billy Dellar (Wendy) Emily Ash, Ella Fong, Lyla Fong, Madison Fong, Karli Dellar, Kennedy Dellar and Dylan Dellar, and her Goddaughter, Michaline West. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Franklin Fong, her daughter, Dawn Michelle Dellar, and her brother-in law Robert DeLelle.

A beautiful person that will forever be missed. She was a great person and very hospitable to everyone.
