Patricia Ann (Newman, maiden name) Parran Weller, 82 years old, of Glen Burnie and St. Leonard,
Maryland, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026
Born on June 25, 1944 in Charles County, Maryland, Pat lived a life defined by kindness,
strength, and love. She dedicated herself to her family, friends, and neighbors, always offering
compassion, encouragement, a warm smile, and her unique sense of humor to those around her.
She is survived by her three children and four step children, Debra Blye, David Beck, and Rashel
Trombero, Thomas Weller, Jimmy Weller, Matthew Weller, Mark Weller, grandchildren Dylan Blye
(wife Erica Blye), Bradley Beck (wife Tara Beck), Darcey Blye, and Nathan Beck, and great
grandchildren Jacob Beck and Elise Blye. She was preceded in death by husbands Thomas
Parran and Butch Nelson Weller.
Throughout her life, Pat found joy in collecting vintage housewares, jewelry, and antique dolls,
though her greatest passion was her involvement for over 30 years in the GFWC Woman’s Club of
Linthicum Heights. She also worked in food and beverage service, retail sales, and as a home
health aide in Anne Arundel County. She will be remembered for her faith, generosity, sense of
humor, and devotion to her family and many friends. Her love touched countless lives, and her
legacy will continue through the people she inspired and cared for.
A funeral service and viewing will be held on Saturday, July 18th at Rausch Funeral Home, located
in Port Republic, Maryland from 10-11am. Interment will follow at Christ Church Episcopal Parish,
also in Port Republic.

Pat held a special place in my uncle’s heart. Though they were no longer married, she remained a vibrant hostess and spirited companion to him. I could understand their connection as Pat had a gift for lighting up the room with her laughter and warmth. Condolences to her family as I know her loss will be deeply felt.

Miss Pat was such a strong, confident, and caring woman, with a wonderfully silly side that always made us smile. She was an incredible friend, especially to my mom. She joined us for so many holidays, birthdays, and family meals, and she stopped by Mom’s house three or four times a week. On the days they didn’t see each other, there were always phone calls—sometimes two or three a day.
She wasn’t just a friend; she was family, and her presence will leave a space that can never be filled. We will all miss her deeply, especially Mom, who shared so much of her life with her.
Rest easy until we meet again, ✝️ Miss Pat. You will be loved, remembered, and missed more than words can say. ❤️

July 17 – Obituary: Patricia Ann Parran Weller
I met Pat as I was walking one day with my friend. She was out in the road by her house. We talked a little and then went on. Then my son Dwayne started cutting her lawn. Sometimes I would go in and talk with her in her house. We became friends then. When my son died that was when we became very close friends. She was the one who called me and told me her heart was broken as was mine. Pat begin to come to my house often two or three times a week and she came also at holidays gatherings with my family. We all loved her very much. She became a Christian at a youth rally at 13 years old. That made us even closer together because we could share our faith and pray together. She would call me everyday. I knew her health problems I thought she would live a long time because she was strong in her faith. Jesus was her comforter. I will miss her everyday as I look forward to seeing her outside. We will meet again at the great marriage supper at the table with all those who have passed away before us, with Jesus at the head of the table.

July 15 – Obituary: Patricia Ann Parran Weller
It’s hard to really share what I feel in my heart for our beloved Pat. I always made her laugh when she would call me when I would go to my sister’s on Saturday. She would always ask, My sister Paulineis Pat coming she called us the three golden girls.
She will greatly be missed by my sister, but she would come by. The door was always open for her. We shared many Easters together, eating at my sister‘s table, Pauline we took communion together in my sister‘s house we prayed together. I would call her on the phone many times we couldn’t get through because it would say the mailbox was full, but she would always somehow get in touch with us she would call my sister twice a day her and my sister were so close. Pat was like our sister. I know one day I shall see her again because God‘s word says absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8.
we do not sorrow as those who do not have hope for our hope and Pat’s hope was in the Lord Jesus Christ. She made Him her savior at a young age.

July 15 – Obituary: Patricia Ann Parran Weller
I will miss Pat so much. We became fast friends. We met in line voting at the elementary school in Glen Burnie and hit it off. She would ride past my house almost every day to say hi before she went to McDonald’s for her frappe. We continued our friendship even when I moved to Westminster. In fact, it got stronger. We talked on the phone a lot. I will miss her crazy sense of humor. She was full of life and love. Everyone she met became a friend. Love you Pat…see you in heaven!
