Pamela B. Diamond
November 20, 1942 – August 15, 2024
Pam Diamond, 81, was born in the city of Baltimore in November of 1942. At a young age her parents divorced and went their separate ways. As an only child, Pam grew up living with her mother and grandparents, going to school in Nemacolin, PA. She would spend her summers in Baltimore with her dad learning to pick crabs. She also spent time with her family members at the family farm in Waynesburg, PA.
Fresh out of high school Pam struck out on her own to find work and start a life of her own. She found herself in Washington, DC at the age of 17 where she was able to land a job at the Department of Agriculture. During her stay at Agriculture, she moved several times from Washington, DC to Arlington, VA to Alexandria, VA. On April 9, 1964, she married Brack Diamond of Rices Landing, PA. In June of 1967 she had a baby boy David and ended up leaving her job to raise a family. They purchased a home in Woodbridge, VA and had another baby boy Stephen in July of 1969. Brack started a business, Diamond Container Corporation, in 1973 and Pam was all in from the start. She took on the role of Vice President and assumed all financial and legal duties. The business was growing and prompted the need for relocation. She and Brack moved to Huntingtown in 1978 and remained there for the rest of their lives.
Pam’s favorite activity was spending quality time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed reading, needle point, and going to the beach. She enjoyed quilting and other activities at Huntingtown United Methodist Church where she has attended since 1978. She enjoyed golf, target practice with friends, and fishing. She also liked a hot cup of tea in front of the fireplace.
Coming from a broken family, Pam’s labor of love was to provide a home with plenty of stability and love for her family. Family togetherness and unity were very important. We will all surely miss Pam’s presence in our lives. She very quietly did so much for so many over the years.
Pam was preceded in death by her father Sam Blaker, her mother Charlotte Corder, son David, and husband Brack. She is survived by her son Stephen, daughter in law Christina and her husband Rob Collette, grandson Jesse and wife Mary, granddaughter Elizabeth, and her brand-new great-granddaughter Noelle.
Donations in Pam’s name can be made to Huntingtown United Methodist Church and Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department.

Pam, you will be missed by everyone you knew. It was a great pleasure working with you for over 34 years. You gave all and expected nothing in return. You truly had a heart of gold, you were one of a kind. Heaven has gained another beautiful Angel. RIP
