Michele Ann Nelbach
September 21, 1953 – January 6, 2023
Michele Ann Nelbach of Owings, MD passed away January 6, 2023, at Georgetown University Hospital. She was born September 21, 1953, in Cheverly MD to Malcolm A. and Lenore J. Batson Marquess. She was raised in Coral Hills and Waldorf, MD and graduated from Lackey High School. Shelly worked in mortgage banking and later as a real estate abstractor retiring in 2012.
She married Bryan G. Nelbach May 5, 1996 in Lothian, MD. Together they proved that love is better the second time around. They moved from Upper Marlboro to Owings in 2002.
Shelly was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Malcolm “Macky” Marquess and a nephew Ryan Marquess Simpson. She is survived by her husband Bryan, sister Noralyn Heisig and her husband Wade and a nephew Casey of Finksburg.
