Dear Kristen and Jason,
We are so sorry to learn of your father’s passing. Al was a great guy to be friends with. We had lots of fun & silly times together. After you guys moved to the Beach, Al would come over and spend every weekend in the garage with Jeff. No matter the weather; no matter the season, he was sure to visit and spend the day. He was always talking about you and Jason and the things he wanted to do with the two of you. I’ll always remember how he helped me measure out the flower bed at the front of the house, and how he gave Jeff expert advice on taking care of the vehicles’ paint… what kind of wax was the best to use, the best way to apply, and the tools needed to polish. In fact, I can’t hear the word Carnauba without thinking of Al! As years passed, Jeff and Al began to make plans. They wanted to start up their own business – Jeff would work on the cars and Al would do the bodywork. Even though it never came to fruition, it was fun making plans and dreaming big. We missed him when he moved from the neighborhood and often wondered how he was. We have good memories and are honored that we got to know him. I hope you think about the good times and that it brings a smile to your face. Your father is no longer sick and hurting; he’s flying (riding?) high with the angels… and probably teaching them how to keep their cars looking spiffy! Love & prayers, Hannah & Jeff
