With heavy hearts, we mourn the sudden passing of Mary Robin Kosmas on July 13, 2023, at her home in Prince Frederick, Maryland. She was 57 years old.

Mary was a loving daughter, mother, friend, and so much more. She is now reunited with her parents, Mary Ritter and Robert Lippman, as well as her significant other, Mike Cantin, who preceded her in death. Mary leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by her previous husband, Lawrence Kosmas, and her two beloved children, Christopher and Stevie Kosmas, along with many other cherished individuals who held a special place in her heart.

Born on September 5, 1965, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Mary spent her formative years in Maryland, where she attended and graduated from Arundel High School. She embarked on a journey of work and passion, starting at various grocery establishments before finding her calling as a talented dog groomer. But her true joy in life came from being a devoted mother to Christopher and Stevie.

Mary’s love for her children was unparalleled. She spent countless hours cheering them on at Beach Buccaneers’ field, being their biggest supporter at every game. And in the quieter moments, they shared simple yet unforgettable memories, like their weekly treat trips to Starbucks. Mary’s love and dedication knew no bounds, and her children were her world.

Among her favorite things were classic shows like “I Love Lucy,” attending concerts by The Foo Fighters and Taylor Swift, and the gentle beauty of ladybugs. Mary’s kindness, compassion, sense of humor, and caring nature left a lasting impact on all who knew her. She was a truly irreplaceable presence in the lives of those fortunate enough to be touched by her warm and genuine spirit.
