Cheryl, Mike and Patti – I am so very sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. Mary Jane always had a smile for all. She was so proud of all her children. She was always a good mother and friend. She was the first one to come to my home when my mother died when I was only 12 years old. I will never forget her kindness and her compassion. We will all miss her, and I hope she is at peace after her long and hard fight through her illness. Let her beautiful memories comfort you all during this very sad time.
I so enjoyed the times I had with “Miss Mary Jane” and your family. Your mom had an infectious laugh that I could’ve listened to all day. Nothing but good memories. It’s so hard to lose your mom, I wish you all peace for the future.
Mary Jane and I have been friends since our High School days. We talked often in our older days and I know how hard she fought the cancer that ravaged her. I will miss her and remember her for the days that I remain here on this earth. To her children I offer my most deepest and sincere sympathy. Rest in peace dear friend !!

Dolly (Hance) Alleva Mary Jane and I were close childhood first cousins. We shared the fact that we were an only child. This brought us closer together. She would think of happy, positive ways that we could enjoy life the same as if we had siblings. She would invite me to all her fun activities. She was kind and attracted many friends. Mary Jane had a knack for spreading happiness. She liked singing and playing the piano. I will treasure all the special happy childhood memories that we shared together. My condolences to Cheryl, Mike and Patti.
I worked with Mary Jane in the late 1990’s and quickly discovered that she was the office “go to” person. In my opinion, Mary Jane held the unit together. With her many years of experience, Mary Jane freely shared her knowledge with co- workers. Professionally, Mary Jane was wonderfully organized and multi-tasked seamlessly. After her retirement, Mary Jane would drop by my office, if she had time before her card game, and brightened my day with her humor and always entertaining life updates. My sincerest condolences to Mary Jane’s family and many friends.
