Mrs Cockrell was like a second mom to me in my youth. I remember her most for being a wonderful cook, a tidy housekeeper and talented seamstress. I also remember when she told you to jump. You compiled quickly with how high! I went on many camping trips with my bff Phyllis, and have so many fond memories of fun times. Mrs Cockrell had a strong faith and a love of the Lord. I’m sure she’s walking with Jesus on streets of gold. God rest her soul! Hugs and love to the families.
