Much love and our sincere condolences to Mary’s entire family.
Mary was my son’s first Direct Support person at The Arc Southern Maryland and was such an important part of our family. She helped him achieve so much independence in his daily activities and employment. Mary was also co-worker of mine, and a great friend, as well as a source of complete support to me, as a mother of an individual with disabilities. We will always remember and love Mary!

My thoughts and prayer go out to the family during this time of sorrow…Mary was one of a kind and I am grateful for having the chance to call her a friend…She always made you laugh and was always the life of the party…We enjoyed many trips together when I worked with her and she always made sure all our consumers had fun and enjoyed themselves…Glad to have all the memories of her…Heaven has gained a true angel….
My deepest condolences to Mary’s family and friends. I worked with her for many years, and she brought so many people so much joy. She was kind, funny, and a fierce advocate for others. She will always be remembered and missed for those qualities. Love and hugs,
Mary A.
Mary made a great difference in the life of my brother Charles Caplins at ARC as well as my family. Charlie shares his fond memories of her and how she was there for him helping him get jobs, transportation and fun times. He said she was a party person and prankster. She dressed up for Halloween and helped in the haunted house. Always full of laughs. She was able to lighten up situations that were difficult for him very positivity. She will truly be missed and thought of fondly.
